95% of problematic machine issues fixed by American Small Engine are fuel related, this is due to the ethanol being added to fuel. Follow these steps to protect your fuel systems in all your small engines

Step #1

Run the machine dry/empty of all the ethanol fuel.

(Normal gas in the local area all contain 10% ethanol)

Step #2

When empty of fuel, add Non- Ethanol Gasoline.

(Usually found sold in quart size can, sold locally  @

Step #3

Run machine for 4-5 minutes. Then turn off machine leaving non-ethanol fuel in the machine for storage duration of up to 6-8 months.
